Senior Electrical Engineer
Our client is a boutique consultancy based north of Birmingham. There is currently a team of 5 engineers in the office and they are looking for a competent well rounded Senior Electrical Engineer to come and join the team. The Electrical Director will be looking to take a step back from the business in the coming years and therefore is looking for a successor. This person will be an extremely technically capable Engineer that is comfortable in a front facing client role as well.
The successful engineer will have a broad sector experience and will be comfortable undertaking projects of varying type. You will work with the Electrical Director on a regular basis, reporting weekly on progress to ensure all projects are completed to a high technical standard, on time and on budget. You will also have experience in mentoring more junior members of staff and overseeing a team. Ideally you will have carried out fee earning work and will also be used to undertaking feasibility studies etc. you will have good stakeholder management and will be used to dealing with clients on a day to day basis. You will have to work with full autonomy and be comfortable being left to your own devices.
Senior Electrical Design Engineer Requirements:
- Degree in electrical engineering or building services
- Working towards CEng and ideally industry accredited qualifications
- Minimum of 8 years in the building services industry
- Technically capable in design of electrical systems
- Sector experience within Commercial, Retail, Residential and Education
