They maintain a supportive and friendly culture, with strong staff retention rates. Having kept busy throughout the pandemic, they are now identifying opportunities for growth. Seeing particular growth in the rail sector, they are seeking a confident and expert mechanical engineer with experience on rail station projects. This role can be based in either London or Oxford.

Your new role
You will work on mechanical designs for rail station projects, including minor upgrades, full refurbishments, and extensions. You will join another rail expert within the business, and be supported by the wider MEP design team where projects require. You will manage all aspects of your projects, face clients, and have autonomy with managing your workload.

What you'll need to succeed
You will currently be a senior or principal mechanical designer within a consultancy business or similar. You will have some experience working on rail station projects, although additional experience in other sectors will be welcomed. You will be able to successfully delivery a high-quality MEP design. You will have excellent client-facing behaviours, and be able to represent a well respected name in a growing part of their business. You will have relevant qualifications. Chartered status would be desirable although not essential.
