Engineering Services Officer (Building Services)
6 months fixed term contract or a permanent opportunity for an Engineering Services Officer (M&E) in Liverpool

This is a large public sector organisation that looks after a large portfolio of properties, including residential, commercial and education sector. You will be working within an estate team and report directly into the engineering services manager.
Your new role
Working within the public sector you will be looking after a portfolio of properties. In this role you will be looking at specification writing, design, managing contractors/ consultants and specifically focusing on the mechanical and electrical infrastructure of new build and refurbishment projects as well as existing buildings.
In this role you will be the subject expert for building services, and will work closely with the head of maintenance to advise on the best practices and procedures.
What you'll need to succeed
You will be a subject matter expert, therefore a degree in mechanical or electrical engineering is essential, with post graduate experience working in a similar role.
You will have excellent communication skills both verbal and written to liaise with client, contractor and external consultants. You will also have a good understanding and knowledge of BEMS systems and be able to operate the system.
What you'll get in return
