This tier-one global multidisciplinary consultancy works across a huge range of projects across the built environment. Including major urban regeneration, residential developments, defence, transport, education, and much more, across both the UK and the world. They have thousands of engineers, consultants, and other professionals across the UK. With an established and respected fire engineering service they are looking to growth by appointing a new associate fire engineer in London.

Your new role
You will join an established and successful fire engineering team, taking a key leadership role. You will work alongside a large number of professionals from other disciplines across the business. You will work on projects across sectors and building types, from transport, residential, commercial, energy, and more. You will guide the development of fire strategies, assess fire risks, create fire models, review fire safety installations, work on fire safety standards, and keep updated with new legislation. You will have involvements across all stages of projects, and manage time and cost controls. You will take ownership of technical delivery, team management, and lead client meetings.

What you'll need to succeed
You will have experience as a senior or associate fire engineer working in a multidisciplinary built environment consultancy, or a specialist fire consultancy. You will have a relevant engineering qualification. You will likely have achieved Chartered status. You will have a strong record of developing and delivering fire strategies. You will able to manage financial and resourcing aspect of project delivery, and support new project bids.
