Your new company
This tier-one global multidisciplinary consultancy works across a huge range or projects across the built environment. Including major urban regeneration, residential developments, defence, transport, education, and much more, across both the UK and the world. With hundreds of MEP engineers across the UK they have identified strong opportunities to expand their critical systems team. Working a varied collection of large scale data centres, as well as other technical environments with critical and complex engineering elements.

Your new role
You will join an established and highly respected business, taking a key role in leading their critical systems team at a time of growth. You will take responsibility for the technical delivery of the design of large scale data centre projects, and elements of other complex projects where critical systems are present. These might include, power stations, transportation, airports, and more. You will report into senior leaders of the MEP business and manage a team of capable design engineers.

What you'll need to succeed
You will have extensive experience of the engineering design of critical systems, including data centres, as well as other critical engineering environments. You will have a strong technical understanding of the complexities of electrical engineering elements in critical projects. You will be able to deliver high standards of engineering, on large scale and complex projects. You will be confident in guiding clients in meetings, and have a strong commercial acumen. You will be able to support wider business development activities, supporting bids and new wins. You will have relevant engineering qualifications and professional accreditation.
