Permanent opportunity for a technical officer with experience working in repairs and maintenance in Manchester
Your new company
This is a Manchester based housing association with housing stock across the city of Manchester. They are currently looking to further expand their technical team and are looking for a technical officer with experience working in repairs and maintenance team.
Your new role
In this role you will be working a couple of days on site and the rest from home, carry out the scoping, specification/scheduling and management of repair and refurbishment projects. You will undertake pre, interim and post quality assurance inspections.
As this HA housing stock is all Manchester based you will spend less time travelling and have more opportunity to work across interesting and challenging projects.
What you'll need to succeed
A minimum of of HNC/ HND in building studies or equivalent with proven experience working for a housing association or similar environment.
You will have excellent knowledge and understanding building defects and will be highly proficient with IT.
