Mechanical Design Engineer - Kent

Our client is a standalone Building Services consultancy with a strong pipeline to see them through these trying times. They have recently won some work within the healthcare sector which has seen them need to recruit the help of an Intermediate Mechanical Engineer. They are based in Kent and are doing a lot of work in hospital and ward refurbishment projects, so the successful engineer needs to have experience with these sorts of projects.

Our client is a pure building services consultancy and are looking for someone with a minimum of 4 years in the building services industry with a strong background in design of Mechanical systems. you will ideally have worked on a variety of projects in different sectors and will be able to manage most tasks given to you with a good amount of autonomy. You will need to have experience using industry specific software such as Hevacomp, AutoCAD with the ability to use IES and Revit being highly advantageous. You will have a very good knowledge of HTM's and will be confident in your designs.

Mechanical Design Engineer Requirements:

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Building Services
• 4 years minimum experience in the building services industry
• Experience designing using industry specific software
• Ability to work by independently on projects
• Must have experience within the Healthcare sector
