Established Belfast FM provider, Legionella and Water Hygiene job, up to £30,000 plus other benefits.

An established and well respected organisation within Facilities Management. This company are a market leader, boasting a rich heritage and strong track record in the FM market. The company possesses a wealth of high profile contracts, both within the public sector and private sector. They specialise across a wide range of technical services covering mechanical, electrical and building fabric maintenance, minor works projects and soft services delivery.
Your new role
This is a permanent job working for an established Belfast based FM provider. In this role you will be field based requiring you to survey and report on client properties across NI and the mainland UK when required.
You will create legionella risk assessment reports via a tablet computer surveying tool on each building within a client's estate in accordance with ACoP L8, HSG 274, HTM:04 01, Water Regulations and BS 8580.
Your reports will provide recommendations for corrective actions, systems to be implemented for controlling legionella along with a plan of action for the client's team and associated schematic drawings.
As an expert in Legionella you will be required to provide advice to clients as well as assisting with other Water Hygiene related tasks such as monitoring and maintenance as and when necessary using electronic software.
What you'll need to succeed
You must have 2 years experience in a similar role .
City & Guilds or similar third party accredited Legionella control training
Previous experience in the maintenance, servicing and testing of Water Hygiene services
Demonstrate proficiency in IT applications including the use of electronic survey tool
Demonstrate working knowledge of the respective legislation and guidance material (HSC ACoP L8, HSG 274, Water Regulations)
Current full UK Driving License
Desirable Criteria
1. Demonstrate ability to work alone in a multi-site capacity, working to strict quality control systems and operational procedures
2. Demonstrate experience of mechanical maintenance & repairs works e.g. plumbing/engineering
