Building Physics Engineer - London - To £45K

Committed to biophilic design and driven by a passion to design better buildings that enhance occupants' lives; this consultancy has a reputation for designing iconic, highly sustainable buildings.

As a Sustainability (Building Physics) Engineer, you'll help reduce the ecological footprint of the built environment whilst working closely with a team of 10 Sustainability Engineers. You'll feel good that you are using your expert IESVe skills to help design buildings for greater building performance; rather than just for Part L compliance and doing your bit to help save our planet.

Working closely with architects from the feasibility stage, you'll use your creative hand sketching skills to help bring their ideas to life. You'll stay involved on your projects through to construction and also carry out POE's to determine how the building performs in use, compared to your original predictions.

They will continue to grow in 2021 and can offer you quick progression, extensive autonomy and the opportunity of further developing your skills in LCA, Well and Passivhaus.

Requirements

  • Advanced IES skills, preferably some experience with ApacheHVAC.
  • Degree qualified.
  • Previous experience preparing reports for BREEAM and planning applications.
  • Keen interest in Passivhaus, Climate Change and LETI.
  • Some experience in automation using Ladybug, Rhino, Honeybee etc.

Please contact me directly via LinkedIn or our own website, or call me on zero seven five nine five zero seven one three zero three. I will respond to all applications and enquiries.
