MEP Design Manager - Mission Critical
We have a very exciting role for an MEP Design Manager to join a leading multidisciplinary consultancy to work within their Mission Critical team on large scale Data Centre projects across the UK as well as Europe. This is a highly sought after consultancy with a very strong pipeline of work.
The primary focus of the role will be to be responsible for the management of MEP design across our clients mission critical projects from pre-qualification to completion. This will include the management of other MEP design resource as the team grows.
MEP Design Manager Responsibilities:
- Responsible for choosing MEP design consultants to support the delivery of design on projects
- Produce agree and manage, with all relevant parties, a realistic design programme and information required schedule to satisfy design, procurement and construction requirements
- Responsible for overseeing the design process at every stage of the project
- Ensure the design has been reviewed on all projects with respect to mitigating Health and Safety issues prior to construction and ensure that hazards are noted on all drawings at each stage of their production
- Support the implementation of Continuous Improvement programmes and innovation.
MEP Design Manager Requirements
- Degree in Building Services or relevant engineering discipline
- Minimum of 10 years' experience in a similar role
- CEng with industry recognised accreditations
- Must have spent a minimum of the last 3 years working on mission critical projects
- Extremely good understanding of technical coordination of all MEP Services
- Will be able to work autonomously
- Charismatic individual with good client facing manner
- Experiencing delivering in high value datacentre projects
