Join this innovative social business as Contract Manager– Gas & Lifts and ensure safety, compliance and customer satisfaction by applying your hands-on, people focused style to manage a range of contracts that maintain more than 6,000 homes.

Raven is a business with a clear social purpose: building homes and changing lives in Surrey and Sussex. We aim to be an outstanding provider of homes, a cornerstone of the community and an innovative employer.

As Contract Manager – Gas & Lifts, you’ll be fully immersed in this key role, closely managing the contractors and consultants who have been issued with contracts to fulfil works across our housing stock and other properties, including our commercial stock. This will include ensuring that all planned maintenance of heating, boilers, lifts, etc., meets requirements, that both planned and emergency repairs are carried out effectively, and that any work to replace units is correctly scheduled, fulfilled and concluded by the relevant contractors, as per KPIs. You’ll also keep a close oversight of day-to-day operations, tracking and updating works and liaising with customers as required.

We are looking for an accomplished Contract Manager who is comfortable taking full ownership of their role and willing to get stuck in at a practical level to ensure the relevant work is carried out effectively. You’ll need to have the ability to oversee the work and manage the performance of a significant number and range of contractors and consultants –always driving excellence, safety first and value. You will be Gas Safe registered, with a good understanding of HVAC and solid mechanical experience in the building sector, ideally including similar housing. You should also share our values: earning trust by being open and accountable, listening with an open mind, working collaboratively and caring about making things better.

We support and trust our staff to work as a team and be their best. We offer competitive salaries and benefits, a great pension scheme, generous holiday entitlement, plus support for further training to develop your skills and career.

Closing date: 11th March 2021

This is a rolling recruitment process and interviews may take place before the closing date therefore early applications are encouraged.
