Up to £70,000
Our client is a well-known medium sized consultancy that has continued to see growth within a few of their key sectors and are therefore needing to bring in a Principal Mechanical Engineer to their London office.This engineer will have to have exemplary knowledge of detailed design within the building services sector. They are taking the stance that when things return to a new normal that they will be offering a much higher degree of flexibility for their work life balance. Going so far as to say they will allow 50/50 split between homework and office working to accommodate their staff.
They are looking for someone that is extremely technical capable when it comes to the design of mechanical systems within a variety of building types. You will need to be an outgoing and approachable character that has a good client facing manner. You will also be able to manage your own projects from start to finish and will have seen projects through all of the RIBA stages. You will have been in a poition where you are mentoring more junior members of staff and will also have input in client meetings.
Principal Mechanical Design Engineer Requirements:
- Degree in Building Services or Mechanical Engineering Minimum of 10 years design experience in the building services industry Ideally seen projects from concept to completion Ability to manage own workload
