Permanent Job Opportunity for a Sustainability Consultant to join a leading Consultancy in Cardiff

Your new company
An award winning and established specialist M&E design consultancy based in the centre of Cardiff are looking for an ambitious and driven Sustainability Consultant to join their growing office. You'll be joining their newly refurbished office in the centre of Cardiff, where they focus on projects in the education and healthcare sectors. They have a reputation of being a highly-innovative practice within the industry and after a period of continued success, they're now looking to grow their Cardiff office. You'll be joining an office of 10, with a combination of Mechanical, Electrical and BIM specialists.

Your new role
You'll be joining as a (Building Services) Sustainability Consultant for a successful MEP design team based in the centre of Cardiff, where you'll be working on a variety of healthcare and education projects, contributing to environmental assessments of buildings during the design stage. You will be assisting in preparing sustainability strategies to support building design teams and sustainability statements to support planning applications. Delivering high quality, clearly written output, contributing to a wide range of projects. A key requirement is for you to have the ability to assist in managing and delivering sustainability projects.

What you'll need to succeed
To be successful you would ideally have between 2-3 years of experience working within a similar consultancy or relevant business, a science, engineering or building-related bachelor's degree and a building sustainability/energy related MSc is desirable. You'll also have strong interpersonal skills. A demonstrated track record of working on projects within the education and healthcare sectors would be advantageous.
