Mechanical Design Engineer - London - to £45,000 + 10% Annual Bonus, Pension

Are you looking for a secure "Client-Side" Mechanical Building Services Design opportunity, in an environment that will allow you to grow your technical knowledge of design and project management within the the commercial property sector and setting yourself apart from your peers in Design Consultancy?

Our client is a global leader in Commercial Real Estate Services, listed on the London Stock Exchange and is widely recognised as a market leader in the world of Property Consultancy.

A fully entrenched building management company with a very long list of marquee clients, iconic buildings and a growing portfolios of properties.

They have an established in-house Building Services Design Engineering team in house with the expertise on board to guide you as you to grow your technical skills. The role is client facing which will allow you to continue to sharpen your client facing skill-set, whilst gaining a unique understanding and knowledge of the commercial property sector.

You will be tasked with delivering projects across a wide range of commercial buildings (commercial offices, retail, leisure, and heritage).

Initially shadowing the senior members of the design team, with a view to delivering projects independently in due course.

There is a huge amount of flexibility attached to the role and the opportunities for promotion are significant and uncapped.

Experience required:

  • Full Mechanical Design & Management of the design process.
  • An in-depth knowledge of Building Services practices, procedures and standards with particular focus on Mechanical Design and Project Management.
  • Knowledge of either TAS/IES/Revit/BIM would be advantageous.
  • The ability to work as part of a team or autonomously, with excellent team skills and strong attention to detail.

The role would suit an individual who is keen to enter the Commercial Property sector, work directly with clients and develop both their own technical and commercial/client facing skills.
