Concrete NDT Technician

NDT Technician/Engineer job with specific and extensive experience in concrete.

Their areas of expertise include several highly specialist skills, such as confined space entry and control; expert witness services to the legal sector; and innovative problem-solving techniques for complex design, inspection and testing projects, and temporary works. Your new role
You will join a pro-active and passionate team as an expert in concrete testing. You will be required to travel across the UK to various sites and maybe required to stay away for a month at a time. Night working is also a key part of this role. Your role will require you to carry out extensive non-destructive testing on a range of structures including bridges and highways.This will mean working at heights and in confined spaces. You will also need to work closely with clients, managing health & safety on site and building client relationships. You will use techniques such as half-cell potential tests, analysis of dust samples and concrete coring.

What you'll need to succeed
You will be an experienced NDT Technician/Engineer with a strong concrete testing background. Ideally you are SMSTS qualified and also hold IPAF, PASMA and Confined Spaces certifications. A Bridge Inspection Certificate would also be preferred. You are able to do your own drawings using Autocad and write up your own reports. You feel confident in running a site, managing health and safety and building good relationships with clients. You will be able to demonstrate a passion for your work, a positive attitude and a desire to progress your career. You also hold a full UK driving license.
