Your new role
You will lead a team of subject matter experts from across the delivery units, ensuring that the company improves it's approach to system selection and design development on bids and projects. You will scope any shortfalls in technical expertise across the business and work collaboratively across the teams to ensure that technical expertise is deployed according to risk and identifying any potential gaps are closed. You will ensure that competencies and controls are established and maintained across the business to manage future risk, whilst providing technical support and advice as required to Clients / Stakeholders.

What you'll need to succeed
To be successful in this role you will have proven experience and detailed knowledge of SHE requirements, specifically familiar with existing and emerging legislation and guidance relating to fire risk in buildings. The role requires you to have a high level of technical competency, specifically relating to building facades as well as a broad technical knowledge in the areas of cladding, curtain walling, windows, doors and brickwork and will have detailed subject matter expertise in a minimum of one of the aforementioned areas (ideally cladding). You will have previous experience in design, fabrication, installation and remediation, as well as proven experience of technically related dispute resolution and commercial negotiations while leading and directing technical assurance activities.
