Intermediate Mechanical Engineer
Buckinghamshire
Up to £42,000
Our client is a well-established MEP consultancy delivering projects of varying scale and complexity are currently looking for a confident Intermediate Mechanical engineer to sit within their building services team in Buckinghamshire. This consultancy work in a number of sectors so they are ideally looking for someone who has good all-round experience and is going to be comfortable delivering a variety of different projects. They are doing a lot of work in the health care sector at the moment so if you have experience within working on hospitals/ laboratories that would be advantageous. Our client have said that when the pandemic ease they will not be returning to the office 5 days a week but will be allowing for a much more flexible working arrangement where employees can choose when they work from home.
They are looking for someone that is going to be able to confidently create mechanical designs with minimal supervision. You will have good all round when it comes to the design of mechanical systems within a variety of building types and ideally have had exposure to public health systems. You will need to be an outgoing and approachable character that has a good client facing manner. Ideally you will have seen projects from concept to completion, but this isn't necessary.
Intermediate Mechanical Design Engineer Requirements
- Degree in Building Services or Mechanical Engineering
- Minimum of 4 years design experience in the building services industry
- Good working knowledge of industry specific software
- Ability to manage own workload
- Healthcare experience advantageous
