Our client is a growing consultancy that really punch above their weight in regard to the type of clients and projects they bring in. They work closely with esteemed architectural practices to create low energy buildings and work in a wide range of industry sectors including education, arts, leisure, commercial, and larger residential. They are looking for a Graduate electrical Engineer that has a real desire to get into the building services industry. They are looking for someone that wants to be part of a close-knit team of engineers that is going to benefit from working alongside the directors and other chartered engineers. They work on lots of exciting projects on the south coast and in London and are looking for someone that wants to make an impact on the industry.
Graduate Electrical Engineer Requirements:
Your role will involve the design of electrical systems in buildings, including power, lighting, fire alarms, security systems, data installations. It will also involve integration of low energy and renewable systems. You will work with 2D and 3D design software such as Autocad, Revit, Dialux Evo and Amtech. You will attend design meetings and undertake visits to construction sites to inspect the installations you design. You will be given early responsibilities on a range of our live projects and training will be supported towards becoming a chartered engineer and member of IET or CIBSE. With a strong list of projects in the pipeline for 2021 and beyond, and a fantastic reputation, we are offering a career full of exciting challenges in a growing business.
Electrical Design Engineer Requirements:
- Degree in Electrical Engineering or Building Services
- experience designing using industry specific software
- ability to work by independently on projects
- A real willingness to learn
