Job Details
We Are currently working with a very well-known multidisciplinary consultancy in London who are currently on the lookout for a Senior Mechanical Engineer to come on board and join their growing team. This company have sustained growth in the last year due to a number of project wins that see their order book full until the end of November 2021 with more enquiries coming in as the weeks go by. They are currently winning a lot of work in the healthcare and life science sectors and would be looking for a strong design engineer that has experience in these projects.
They are currently looking for a Senior mechanical design engineer to come and work with them on a large scale healthcare and laboratory fit out projects it would be essential for candidates to have experience in this sector. They are looking for someone that can work with full autonomy and be left to their own devices, confident in the work they produce. They are looking for someone with solid design experience using industry specific software. Understand project risks and produce combined MEP Residual Risk Reports in accordance with the CDM regulations with input from other disciplines as required. Attend sites as required throughout the project life cycle and carry out appropriate site reports. Visit sites as required to determine the quality of the installation process related to the specific discipline and report to the client for the whole project. Carry out and report on defects inspections and snagging and input in to the witnessing of commissioning. Must have strong up to date knowledge of HTM's.
Senior Mechanical Design Engineer Requirements:
- Degree in Building Services or Mechanical Engineering
- Minimum of 6 years design experience in the building services industry
- Experience in Healthcare and Life Science projects
- Seen projects from concept to completion
- Ability to manage own workload
