Lead Mechanical Design Engineer

One of the UK's leading provider of Mechanical & Electrical installation and service solutions are seeking to recruit an experienced Mechanical Design Engineer to join their team in Belfast. This company have worked in every type of environment and sector, from sensitive restoration and modernisation of historic and listed buildings, to large and complex projects in live commercial and industrial environments.

Your new role
This is a brand new role within the company where the successful candidate will have an opportunity to establish themselves as the lead designer with the view of progressing to Design Manager as the team grows. Responsibilities will include liaising with Contracts Managers and external consultants to provide efficient and economical design solutions. Development of installation and co-ordination drawings throughout the contract process including attendance of client and design team meetings.

What you'll need to succeed
You will be an experienced, qualified design engineer in mechanical building services with good drawing skills and working knowledge of AutoCAD and Revit. Ideally you will have 3 years experience within a building services design office and technically qualified in building services at HNC level or higher.
