Intermediate Mechanical Engineer
Our client is a very well-known multidisciplinary consultancy with offices across the UK. They are currently looking for a confident mechanical Engineer to join their London office. They have been working fully remotely for the last year and haven't found it to be detrimental to their progress, therefore, going forward they have decided they are going to allow the employees to decide how much they work from home. They will actively play a part in making sure you're still developing as an Engineer. They have created a culture where the employees enjoy coming to work part of that is by giving them as much autonomy as they need and pay out yearly bonuses to every employee. They are currently working on a lot of different projects in the education, Residential and Healthcare sectors. Their work varies from the £5 - £40 million range and are looking for someone that is going to be able to come and take charge of these projects.
It is important that the successful engineer is confident in their ability and will be able to work autonomously. You will be technically capable when it comes to the design of all mechanical systems within a variety of building types. You will have strong stakeholder management skills and will have ideally seen projects from concept to completion. Good working knowledge of industry specific software. You must be a self started and capable of managing projects on your own with minimal supervision.
Mechanical Design Engineer Requirements:
- Ideally Degree in Mechanical engineering or building services
- Minimum of 4 years in the building services industry
- Technically capable in design of Mechanical systems
- Working towards CEng
- Working knowledge of Hevacomp, Cymap, IES
