Your new role
As a Mechanical and Electrical Operations Manager, your role will be key to overseeing the successful completion of a wide portfolio of existing and new projects, focused on budget management, external and internal engineer coordination and working to ensure your team is delivering efficient, excellent customer and client satisfaction whilst providing the business with value for money. You will be responsible for the management and maintenance of a variety of systems including domestic and commercial gas, oil, renewables, lifts, LOLER and other M&E systems.


What you'll need to succeed
A HNC/HND in Mechanical Services or relevant qualification, with relevant building, maintenance, compliance or facilities management experience. Alternatively, you will be qualified by experience and hold a H&V qualification, starting life as an apprentice/trades background. You will have previous Gas safety and landlord responsibilities and up to date knowledge of health and safety in Housing and construction. Significant, proven experience with/in Housing Associations and significant proven plumbing services experience is also required for this role.

It is essential that you have a strong knowledge and understanding of legislation and practical issues regarding installation, maintenance, servicing and repairs of: Natural Gas and LPG heating and hot water systems, H&V systems, Oil Systems, Solid Fuel, Plumbing, Ground source and Air heat pumps, Lifts and Lifting Equipment


What you'll get in return
Depending on your level of experience, you'll receive a generous salary of circa £52,000 + Car Allowance, generous holiday entitlement, company pension and flexible working.
