Mechanical Associate - £65 to £75K + Package

Ready to step up into your first Associate role?

Due to securing the majority of the projects they have recently bid on, this multi-disciplinary engineering consultancy are looking for a technically sound and commercially aware Mechanical Associate.

Supported and backed by the Chartered and Degree qualified Mechanical Director, you'll take ownership for the Mechanical team; and act as the main point of contact for clients on all projects.

Ideally, they would like an experienced Principal who is looking to step up into their first Associate role; who still enjoys design, meeting clients and mentoring a team of engineers.

You'll lead projects, lead DTM's and client presentations, assist with fee bids and resource allocation and also manage the team of six mechanical engineers.

Key requirements

  • Minimum of 8 years' experience in HVAC Design, working for a consultancy or design and build contractor.
  • Good knowledge of other disciplines including Architecture, Civil and Structural Engineering and Sustainability.
  • Previous residential, hotel, education or mixed-use project experience.
  • Able to lead projects and lead a team of engineers.
  • Previous experience seeing projects from RIBA Stage 1-5.
