Technical Services Manager - Northamptonshire (FM/ Maintenance/ Hard Services/ M&E)

Your new company

A large National Multi-disciplinary FM Contractor are looking to appoint a Technical Services Engineering Manager to work on a Key PFI account.

You will oversee up to 50 School properties in the Northamptonshire area, Providing a planned / preventative maintenance service. With 2 direct compliance officers supporting you, there will also be 13 engineers reporting in to you. With strict SLA and KPI's Statutory compliance is critical and part of your role will be "spot checking" and carrying out inspections on Internal and external contractors.

About You
They are looking for a strong technically minded individual who can provide support and expertise to on site trades. Knowledge of all Mechanical & Electrical services is a MUST. You will be required to know regulations, legislation and compliance.
You will be client facing and deal directly with the end customer.
You will be required to carry out risk assessments and be responsible for the health & safety of your team on site.

What you'll need to succeed

  • Excellent knowledge of M&E services to provide technical expertise (gas/electrics/refrigeration/heating etc)
  • Knowledge of regulations and compliance, review and sign off certificates
  • Excellent communicator and strong in a client facing role
  • Problem solving
  • Able to manage a team of multi skilled engineers
  • Strong health & safety (IOSH qualification or equivalent)
  • Be calm under pressure and be able to be re-active.



What you'll get in return

Salary circa £47k + Car + Business fuel card.

This role will be office based in a covid secure environment and involve regular travel around Northamptonshire to site.
