Senior Mechanical Engineer
Birmingham
Up to £48,000
Our client is a household name when it comes to MEP Design in the UK. They have multiple offices across the UK with their Birmingham offices being one of their strongest. They have bee extremely busy over the last 12 months despite the pandemic and have already achieved the Q2 targets for this year. They are currently looking for a Senior mechanical Engineer to come and join the team to work on some major schemes. You will be working directly alongside the Mechanical Technical Lead and will responsible for running your own small to medium sized projects. They work in a variety of sectors and are known for pulling in some impressive clients.
The successful senior Mechanical engineer will be extremely technically capable when it comes to the design of mechanical systems within a variety of building types. You will have good client liaison skills and will be used to having an input in design meetings with architects and contractors. You will ideally have led small to medium sized projects and ran your own small teams of engineers.
Senior Mechanical Design Engineer Requirements:
- Degree in Building Services or Mechanical Engineering
- Minimum of 8 years design experience in the building services industry
- Ideally seen projects from concept to completion
- Ability to manage own workload
