Job Details

Since 1966, Max Fordham LLP has worked with the world’s leading architects to create beautifully engineered buildings. This is an exciting time to join us with the industry experiencing renewed interest in sustainability, and Max Fordham leading on delivering Net Zero Carbon projects.

We have five offices across the UK, and right now we are looking for experienced engineers with different areas of specialisms and expertise, to join us.  We want to hear from people who are able to see the big picture and influence positive outcomes:  meeting the needs of clients and our society; using design to proactively respond to the climate emergency; communicating clearly and collaborating effectively with our clients and design teams to deliver world-class sustainable buildings.

We are looking for skilled, engaged and motivated engineers to work on a wide range of projects and sectors, which all require a thoughtful and rigorous approach to design and delivery. Our people enjoy contributing to the process of collaborative working - from developing a well thought out brief, to delivering a building or project that exceeds the client’s expectations.

Our Practice is owned and governed by the people who work for us, with trust and transparency at the heart of how we operate.   We offer a highly inclusive and collaborative working environment, and we put people front and centre of all that we do.

We combine creativity and analytical approach to design elegant and sustainable approaches to our work, and our portfolio includes award winning buildings and internationally renowned landmarks.

If this sounds like the kind of workplace environment you would like to be part of, and you have the skills and experience that we are looking for, then we would love to hear from you!

Please click the apply button below to visit our website and view the details of all our available opportunities, and see how you can apply for the role/s you are interested in.  You will also need to demonstrate how you are eligible to work in the UK.

It's conventional for businesses to say that they're an "equal opportunities employer" or that they "comply with the Equality Act" as a way of telling potential applicants that their business is a nice place to work.

We are, and we do. But that's really only committing to an absence of discrimination, and for us that's not enough.  Our commitment is not only to eliminate and avoid discrimination, but to create an environment where our differences can be celebrated and valued.

We are also a Living Wage Employer.
