Senior Mechanical Sales Engineer
This is a great role for a Senior Mechanical Engineer that is looking for something slightly different. If you're a Senior Mechanical Engineer that would like a salary plus be in a incentive based role then this might be the position for you. Our client is a leading Building Services Equipment distributor and they are currently looking for someone that would be keen to come on board to their busy and growing team. This role would really suit someone that has solid Mechanical Design experience but would be interested in being in more of a target driven role where you can make additional bonuses on top of your annual salary based on how you perform. Their bonus structure works on a sliding scale with the scale topping out at 105% of your annual salary based on your performance. You will be expected to create and drive a technical sales plan with account managers. You're main role is to increase the amount of sales opportunities by demonstrating your technical knowledge and offering ongoing project support.
As the Senior Mechanical Sales Engineer you will be reporting and advising on Mechanical and PH Designs. You will review 3rd party specs and engage in fault finding on industrial and commercial projects. You will be expected to undertake mechanical and public health dilapidation surveys and write professional reports. You will have detailed working knowledge of CIBSE Guide B & M as well as SFG20. You will be responsible for end to end project managing and delivering effective engineering solutions, as well as assisting in developing the technical knowledge of colleagues within the branch network and regional sales teams, supporting Account Managers, Internal Sales and Branch Managers with BOSS and technical products. You will be expected to provide technical surveys and project evaluation as well as supporting on project documentation (BIM, CAD, 3D Drawings etc.).
Senior Mechanical Sales Engineer Requirements:
- Degree in Building Services or Mechanical Engineering
- Minimum of 8 years design experience in the building services industry
- Ideally seen projects from concept to completion
- Ability to manage own workload
