Job Details

I'm looking for a Senior Electrical Design Engineer who is comfortable designing and leading iconic UK and international projects.

Supported by a team of nine Electrical Engineers, you'll lead up to three projects simultaneously including hotels, high-rise residential towers, universities and resorts.

As a recognised leader in Low and Zero Carbon projects, you'll lead projects from RIBA Stage 2 to 5 and also work closely with signature architects on competition bids.

With at least six years' experience in Building Services, you'll already be familiar with integrating sustainable and renewable technologies into projects, leading client meetings and mentoring a team.

You'll work closely with the other inhouse disciplines such as mechanical, environmental, acoustic and sustainability engineers and create buildings and spaces that inspire people.

You'll benefit from working in a committed, friendly and social team of Engineers and enjoy weekly social and team building activities.

Requirements

  • At least six years' experience in Building Services as a Design Engineer
  • Previous experience leading projects from RIBA Stages 1-5.
  • Able to manage and mentor two to three, Junior or Intermediate Engineers.
  • Good understanding of renewables (PV's, ASHP, Passive design) and electrical based heating solutions.
