Senior Engineer (Building Services)

An established building services design consultancy based in Belfast who specialise in Mechanical, Electrical and Environmental engineering. They offer design engineering, site coordination and surveying services, which incorporates thermal modelling, SBEM, SAP and BREEAM calculations.
Your new role
Our client is seeking to engage an experienced Building Services Engineer on an ongoing contract basis, the minimum duration is likely to be c.9 months but could be longer. Due to increased workload on public sector framework services and onsite projects this consultancy is seeking an experienced Mechanical or Electrical Building Services Engineer to assist with a range of duties such as project management, client meetings, trouble shooting, design management and quality inspection but ultimately to runs jobs on site.
What you'll need to succeed
To be suitable for this role you must be able to demonstrate a track record of project delivery in the commercial and or industrial sector on multimillion pound new build and / or refurbishment projects. You will ideally be from a mechanical or electrical contracting or consultancy background and either be a time served Electrician/Plumber/Pipefitter or HNC/D qualified who has gained project/contract management experience or have a Building Services related degree with experience working in a consultant's office at senior engineer level or above.

The rate of paid is in the range of £18.00 to £21.00 per hour + paid annual leave. A higher rate of pay is negotiable for candidates who can demonstrate significant experience. Payments will be made via BACS transfer every Friday morning.
