Associate Electrical Engineer - Data Centre's


Up to £75,000

Our client is a well-known medium sized consultancy that has continued to see growth within their Mission Critical Team. They are winning project after project and are needing to employ the help of an Associate Electrical Engineer to help with the workload.. This engineer will have to have exemplary knowledge of detailed design within the building services sector. They are taking the stance that when things return to a new normal that they will be offering a much higher degree of flexibility for their work life balance. Going so far as to say they will allow 50/50 split between homework and office working to accommodate their staff.

The successful Associate Electrical Engineer will have extensive experience within the mission critical sector, specifically with Data Centres. It would be highly advantageous if you had experience working on hyperscale Data Centres. You will understand and have experience in how to size & select larger power system components such as UPS (500-1000 kW+), generators (1250kVA+), LV/MV switchgear, 11/0.4kV transformers etc. You will have fantastic technical design capabilities whilst also being a strong and effective communicator. You will be expected to manage clients and will even be involved with bringing in new work. You will have lead teams of engineers on major projects and will be used to running large schemes. You will have been in a position where you have mentored more junior members of staff and will have full involvement with financial deliverables.

Associate Electrical Engineer Requirements:

    Degree qualified in Electrical Engineer or Building Services MSc in relevant field CEng and other industry recognised accreditations Minimum of 10 years within a design consultancy Minimum of last 3 years working on Data Centres
