Job Details
Our client is an internationally renowned MEP Consultancy that is known for creating some of the most well publicised projects in the industry. They have seen a large amount of work come in in the data centre sector and are having to recruit an Intermediate Mechanical Engineer in to their Mission Critical Team to cope. This consultancy has offices internationally but are going from strength to strength in their London office. They have an extremely strong pipeline of work and are looking for someone that can come and assist with the Mission Critical projects that they have recently won.
It is important that the successful engineer is confident in their ability and will be able to work autonomously. You will be technically capable when it comes to the design of all mechanical systems within a variety of building types. You will have strong stakeholder management skills and will have ideally seen projects from concept to completion. Good working knowledge of industry specific software. You will have played an active part in design team meetings and will have had regular input with clients, contractors and architects. You will enjoy working in a team environment and will thrive off of collaborative work.
Mechanical Design Engineer Requirements:
- Ideally Degree in Mechanical engineering or building services
- Minimum of 3 years in the building services industry
- Technically capable in design of Mechanical systems
- Experience working on data centres and mission critical projects
- Working knowledge of Hevacomp, Cymap, IES
