A leading South West based M&E Contractor are looking to hire an Electrical Qualifying Supervisor, which is a key role within their Electrical department. The position will be based within their Cheltenham office, with the majority of work taking place across the Gloucestershire/South West region. Clients comprise of mostly high-end residential, small to medium sized new build/refurbishments and similar commercial units.
Your new role
You will be a key player in helping to rebuild the electrical department post COVID. As the resident NICEIC expert, you will be the main point of contact for the Electrical Contracts Manager, Managing Director and where appropriate the client. Duties include:
- Carrying out surveys and providing equipment specific pricing
- Verifying electricians inspection & testing results
- Managing audits with compliance / NICEIC
- Being the main, registered Electrical Qualifying Supervisor for the company
What you'll need to succeed
It goes without saying you must be experienced in fault finding, testing and inspecting others work, with previous commercial and domestic experience. You will need an NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation (or equivalent) as a minimum. You should also hold your 18th Edition (City & Guilds) and Inspections and Testing 2391/2 or similar. An Enhanced DBS will be required and you should also hold a Full UK Driving License.
