Associate Director of Sustainability & Energy job, London, £60k+, Respected commercial property consultancy

Your new company
This established and well respected consultancy specialises in servicing existing commercial buildings. Working with blue-chip clients, property managing agents, building owners, landlords and tenants. They specialise in high-value commercial properties, primarily located across London's financial centres, as well as other prime office locations across the capital. Their company culture provides flexibility and a strong sense of community, which has seen high staff retention. The existing sustainability team is enjoying a period of success and growth, and is ready to expand the team's leadership with a new associate director.

Your new role
You will join an existing team of sustainability & energy consultants, and take a newly created role as a leader within the team. You will work closely with clients, including building owners, landlords, and agents, offering an excellent and professional service. You will provide advice and guidance on a number of sustainability service lines, including energy assessments and audits, WELL, BREEAM, LEED, ISO:50001, etc. You will survey sites as needed, attend client meetings, produce excellent written reports, and collaborate with other property experts. You will support a team of consultants, and provide coaching and training support as required.

What you'll need to succeed
You will currently work within a built environment consultancy or property management business. You will have excellent client-facing behaviours, and be able to confidently represent a respected brand. You will have experience of working with a range of commercial buildings. You will have excellent and clear communication skills, both verbally and written. You will have an understanding of engineering systems, plant, and fabric, of commercial buildings. You will have a relevant qualification in the built environment and professional accreditations in sustainability.
