Job Details
Our client is a well-known consultancy operating within the mission critical field and currently working with some extremely large financial and tech companies. They are currently looking for a Senior Mechanical Engineer to work on a contract basis for them in their London office. This will be a split between homework and office work and will have you working on some of the most notable data centres in the UK & Europe.
They are looking for someone that is extremely technical capable when it comes to the design of mechanical systems within the data centre arena. You will need to be an outgoing and approachable character that has a good client facing manner. You will also be able to manage your own projects from start to finish and will have seen projects through all of the RIBA stages. You will have been in a position where you are mentoring more junior members of staff and will also have input in client meetings.
Senior Mechanical Design Engineer Requirements:
Degree in Building Services or Mechanical Engineering
Minimum of 10 years design experience in the building services industry
Must have good project experience on data centre projects.
