MEP Revit Technician

Summary:

Our client is an international studio for architecture and integrated design, with headquarters in London, and 14 offices worldwide employing c1400 people. We have an exciting opportunity for an MEP BIM/Revit Technician, who has experience within Mechanical, Electrical, and Public Health (MEP) engineering to be part of their multidisciplinary engineering team in London. This is a fantastic opportunity with a top tier firm working on some of the best projects in the world.

Responsibilities:

• Setup of Revit models, population of view, sheets, filters etc and make it ready for team to work on
• Review project files for compliance with Standards/protocols
• Assisting Engineers in drawing production
• Produce accurate 2D drawings, 3D models
• Coordinating drawing production in line with project requirements and in conjunction with other discipline.
• Able to meet tight deadlines and able to work within a team and alone
• To contribute or otherwise assist as required
• Implement best practice procedures
• Thorough knowledge of and compliance with company workflows and standards
• Facilitate the development of new workflows
  
  

Requirements:

• Able to demonstrate ability to undertake the above responsibilities
• Legally able to work in the country in which the position is based
• Deep understanding of Revit MEP, and workflows between architecture and engineers
• Ability to create families and knowledge of Revit Family Editor/ parametric modelling
• Working knowledge of other CAD Packages including Revit / AutoCAD / Rhino
• Experience of working in the building services environment
• Good knowledge of Mechanical, Electrical and Public Health Engineering terminology
• Excellent communications skills both written and verbal
• Excellent organisational skills
• Able to manage sensitive and sometimes confidential information
• Self-motivated and able to take responsibility
• Able to demonstrate initiative and a proactive approach to daily task
• Flexible attitude
  

Desirable:

• Knowledge of Dynamo and Scripting languages
• Knowledge of Revit Add-Ins
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office especially Excel
