Job Details
Our client is one of the world’s first engineering consultancies to be certified carbon neutral. Their mission is to provide a pathway to net-zero-carbon for all the buildings they design. Their industry leading sustainability & building physics team is key to their global business.
This is an excellent opportunity for a passionate and motivated Sustainability Engineer, to join their team either in London or Manchester, to work on some of the most exciting sustainable design projects in the UK and around the world. Working under the guidance and supervision of more experienced staff, you will develop your existing knowledge and skills in energy modelling, and assist with the development of energy and sustainability strategies for new build and existing buildings.
Over time you will be supported and encouraged to work towards Chartership, through one of their accredited training schemes.
The role will include supporting and developing some of our key work streams:
- Building physics and parametric modelling
- Design for performance, predictive energy modelling and operational energy assessments (TM54 and DfP)
- Planning and Building Regulations
- Bespoke sustainability services
