Leading M&E Contractor - Mechanical Director Job - Oxfordshire

A full service, leading M&E contractor working in partnership with an accolade of some of the most well-known clients is looking to hire a Mechanical Director to help the business continue on its path of exponential and sustainable growth. The business is built of a full mechanical, electrical, renewable and fire & security division offering complete design, install and maintenance on projects ranging from £1,500 - £500,000 (Mechanical spend) across a wide spectrum of clientele including commercial, healthcare and high-end residential.

Your new role
Joining as a Mechanical Director, you will be responsible for leading the mechanical division of the business, encouraging your team to achieve the highest level of service delivery across existing and new projects within the Oxfordshire area. You will be leading technical delivery across a wide range of projects, ensuring your division continues to contribute to the wider groups continuous growth and success.

You will be working with and supported by the wider senior management team to identify areas of improvement, capitalise of current market strengths and develop your team to ensure mechanical services are delivery to the highest standards. You'll be given the freedom and flexibility to grow your division, using your knowledge and experience to drive the business forward.


What you'll need to succeed
You will be Mechanically biased, currently working within a similar role for an M&E contractor. Ideally you would come from an operations / contract management position, with qualifications and experience to match. You will be a people person, able to commute and articulate a strategy and process clearly, with clear ideas and vision for what success looks like.

What you'll get in return
The salary is negotiable as the client is interested in meeting someone who believes they can make a difference, but realistically you can expect to receive anywhere between £50,000 - £70,000.
