We are looking for a motivated individual who is committed to delivering high quality services to a variety of customers.  Someone who is resilient and well-organised with the ability to multi-task and manage their own workload.

Our ideal candidate will be able to communicate both verbally and in writing in a clear, concise, and open manner to a wide range of people as well as demonstrating a high level of risk awareness.

We will look to you to deal confidently and pro-actively with queries where you will be able to show us your problem-solving and decision-making skills and provide specialist Mechanical Services technical and professional advice in support of all Estates and Facilities works programmes and projects.  

You will have well-developed project and contract management skills as well as a good working knowledge of health and safety and building regulations.

You will also have general responsibility for the administration, supervision and inspection of new and existing Mechanical Services installations including low carbon systems such ASHP and upgrading work within City Council properties, either as part of the improvement programmes or as individual projects. 

In addition, you will also be responsible for preparation of the annual Mechanical Services improvement programmes including producing budget estimates and specifications as well as undertaking mechanical installations condition surveys.
