Energy & Sustainability Engineer

Working directly with the two Founding Directors of their London office, you'll be mentored in every aspect of energy and sustainability including Building Physics, Energy and Sustainability Strategies, SAP Assessments, Thermal Comfort Strategies, BREEAM, Nabers, LEED, Automation, Whole Life Carbon Assessments and even ESG.

Instead of being a small cog in a big wheel, here you'll bey a key member of the Sustainability team and get to deal with key stakeholders and clients directly.

With multiple offices located across the UK, you'll enjoy working on a very diverse range of projects including masterplans, hospitals, industrial and logistics facilities, commercial offices and large-scale net zero carbon mixed-use developments.

As a boutique sized Sustainability Consultancy with 20 employees, you'll enjoy getting involved in every aspect of a project from planning, feasibilities studies, energy strategies right through to post occupancy evaluations.

Rather than being micromanaged or getting bogged down with filling in timesheets, you'll be managed based on results and will be given as much autonomy, flexibility and responsibility as you like.

Requirements

• At least two years' experience in a similar role, as a Building Physics Engineer or Environmental Designer.
• Able to use IESVe or IES Apache HVAC.
• Ideally a working knowledge of dynamo, grasshopper or Python.
• Good overall knowledge in energy strategies, NZC road maps, Building Performance Engineering and an awareness of WLCA.
