Your new company
Hays Building Services seek to recruit an Electrical Building Services Engineer for our client, a global fully integrated professional and technical services firm based in Belfast. Our client is expanding and are looking for someone experienced to join the building services team to get involved on some major, exciting local and international projects.

Your new role
You will be involved all aspects of building services consultancy environmental engineering including design, specifications, project management, environmental design etc. undertaking projects across all sectors including Health, Leisure, Education, Commercial, Industrial and Data Centres. Your role will involve ensuring the completion of projects by actively driving operations, acting as a key point of contact and information, developing designs and working through calculations, liaising with all design partners and stakeholders to deliver a professional service to the highest standards.

What you'll need to succeed

  • HNC/HND or Degree educated in building services, electrical engineering, or similar / related discipline. (Experience rather than education route will be considered)
  • An experienced Electrical Engineer or Building Services Engineer presently holding either an engineer level or senior position
  • Relevant experience in specification writing, calculations, and developing designs from first principles including lighting, general power, LV/HV schematics, Fire Alarm, Security, Data etc and be conversant with codes and practices.
  • Proficient in AutoCAD, Revit, Amtech etc.
