My client is a respected M&E contractor in Wiltshire. They deliver mechanical and electrical services to a wide range of commercial and heritage clients. They carry out installation and maintenance, alongside fire/security services on high-end residential and large-scale commercial projects. They pride themselves on providing a quality service with customer satisfaction at the forefront of their and therefore a large proportion the work they deliver comes from word of mouth and repeat business. They work at every stage from design to install, through to maintenance & repair.

Your new role
The client is looking for a commercial manager to join their team, overseeing costing and delivery across both mechanical and electrical works. Ideally the candidate will have a Mechanical Bias, with a background in estimating or quantity surveying. We are looking for an experienced and qualified Commercial Manager with an understanding of different procurement methods used in construction; an understanding of the different standard forms of contract, and the risks associated with each. You will have a solid level of technical appreciation/competence in M&E Services with the ability to apply this to the commercial management of the project(s) and the wider business objectives. To be successful in the role you will be a confident communicator, able to demonstrate the ability to form and develop relationships with all stakeholders.
