Our client is a long-established MEP Design consultancy that works with some very notable clientele. They do a lot of work within the commercial fit-out sector so it would be highly advantageous if you have experience on these building types. You will be able to work with some very experienced engineers, and they take pride in having their director on the floor pitching in and collaborating on designs. You will come in as a Principal Electrical Engineer but this company is willing to invest time and effort to ensure that you don't stop there.

The Successful Principal Electrical Engineer will be well versed when it comes to the design of electrical systems throughout a number of building types. However, they will possess a good amount of experience in CAT A/B fit-out projects and will be highly adaptable in their approach to help fit a client's brief. It will be important for the successful Electrical Engineer to have managed projects from concept to completion acting as the project lead. The successful engineer should be confident in their ability and have the Ambition to always work up to their highest standards. You will have strong communication skills to ensure the project's completion from start to finish. Good working knowledge of industry-specific software, and you will take pride in guiding more junior members of staff through their engineering journey.

Principal Electrical Engineer Requirements:

  • Minimum of 8 years experience in a design position
  • Degree in Electrical Engineering or Building Services
  • CEng and industry recognised accreditations
  • Experience working on commercial buildings
