Are you an Associate level Mechanical Engineer that's looking for something a bit different? Our client are a specialist contractor looking for an Associate Mechanical Design Engineer that would be interested in adding uniformity and technical confidence/authority to their design team. They are looking for someone that is extremely technically competent in the design of a variety of mechanical systems throughout a number of building types. This is a very exciting as they are looking for someone that would be interested in coming in to the business and set the standard for their design team, once this is achieved they will give you the financial backing along with back office resource to move in to a more senior Director role which will allow you to build your own consultancy underneath you. If you have aspirations of growing your own business but don't think you have the initial start-up capital nor the experience, this company will be able to provide both. They have successfully built multiple businesses and are looking for driven people that can help them continue to do this.
As the successful Associate Mechanical Engineer, you will need to be able to effectively liaise with clients and stakeholders to manage expectations whilst maintain and building new relationships for the company. You will be the technical leader when it comes to projects you manage. You will have played an active part in the development of the more junior engineers and will manage the engineering output for each project. You will be responsible for managing financial deliverables and will play a part in the project bids.
Associate Mechanical Engineer Requirements:
Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Building Services
Minimum 10 years' experience within a building services design position
Ideally CEng as well as an accredited member of recognised organisation
Excellent technical capability when it comes to the design of mechanical systems
Good understanding of building design from a multidisciplinary approach
