Job Details
This is a great opportunity for an ambitious and influential Mechanical Engineer to join a well-established medium sized MEP consultancy with 4 offices across the UK. Their London office has grown impressively to now be the heartbeat of the practice.
They are now looking for Mechanical Associate to work closely with the Director of London to grow and nurture one of the MEP teams in London and to lead and deliver a varied portfolio of projects including residential, commercial fit out, hotels and mixed use.
The firm are about to celebrate their 20th Birthday and employ over 80 people across 4 locations, they are well known for their sustainable focus and absolute commitment and energy to delivering Net Zero projects.
The London office is led by one of the most diligent, ambitious, supportive and happy engineers I’ve ever met, the Director is a joy to work with and for, and his infectious positivity has been a central pillar in the growth and retention of the team in London.
The Successful candidate will inspire and support engineers within the team, solving complex issues and ensuring the team are driven to push innovation and deliver exceptional projects. With the team being the cornerstone of the business, appraisals both formally and informally will also play a big part of this role, as will being the face of the business to a number of high profile and key clients. Leadership of projects from a complete MEP perspective and ensuring projects run smoothly and client relationships are nurtured and maximized will also form part of this role.
The ideal candidate will already be functioning at Associate level or be a accomplished principal mechanical engineer, prior experience in residential, mixed use and commercial projects markets are a must, just as important are the softer interpersonal leadership skills to champion the training and development of staff members and forging ever stronger relationships with clients.
