Senior Civil Engineer job in Nottingham for experienced Civil Engineer looking for good career progression.

Your new company
Established in the 1980's this organisation continues to grow and go from strength to strength. They are a multi-disciplinary consultancy who undertake a range of projects from residential to commercial and from historical to industrial. The company is undergoing another planned expansion and for the right individual, this position represents and an excellent opportunity to progress.

Your new role
You will work on a range of projects for clients across the UK. Your main duties will include:

  • Production of drainage appraisals and designs from concept to detailed design, including the production of S104 drawings.
  • Flood Risk Assessments to NPPF
  • Cut and Fill and External Level design.
  • Attending meetings and representing the company
  • Drafting of NBS Specifications


What you'll need to succeed
You will be a degree qualified Civil Engineer who is approaching a near-chartered Civil Engineer status. You are competent in Highway Design to Adoptable Standards, including the completion of S38 and S278 drawings and you have experience in the use of Microdrainage, PDS and AutoCAD. You can manage your own projects and produce your own designs. You are familiar with the financial control of the design process and managing staff. You should have a driving licence for the UK and be prepared to travel to construction sites when required.

Starting salary to be negotiated but in the region of £45K to £50k per annum, and holiday entitlement depending on experience but generally in the region of 25 (With 5 days fixed in addition at Christmas) days flexible annual leave.
