Senior Mechanical Engineer
£70k pa + excellent benefits package
Location – This position is office-based but due to Covid 19 restrictions we are currently working from home. We operate a hybrid/flexible working model. 
 

The Houses of Parliament Restoration and Renewal Delivery Authority leads the biggest and most complex renovation programme ever seen in the UK. Our friendly and growing Engineering team is seeking a Senior Mechanical Engineer to join them on our exciting project.

You will work closely with the Head of Engineering to ensure that there is effective briefing and management of consultants to drive value for money, consistent quality and timely delivery of the various workstreams. You will work with other colleagues on overlapping areas and ensure that a clear strategy is in place. You will lead on the mechanical engineering design tasks, ensure that design-task outcomes and requirements are adequately defined and ensure that that the regulations, legislation, codes of practice, current design standards are applied.

To be successful, you will be a Chartered Member or an incorporate member of an appropriate professional institution such as CIBSE, IMech, IET, have a successful track record delivering a similar role, developing processes and guidelines for the diverse range of activities and able to demonstrate extensive and substantial technical experience in the field of building services engineering. You will also have a broad knowledge of the latest building regulations including health and safety standards and best practice in the delivery of Restoration & Renewal works within Historic buildings.
