Your new role

The role is vacant because of an expanding workload, you will be joining a small team within the business including two current professionals in both Flood risk and Drainage. You will be working alongside these two individuals to assess flood risks and strategise drainage solutions for the companies varied and ever-growing list of clients. You will be required to assess the viability of schemes and identify abnormal costs related to a potential site development.

Most of this role will include you writing the results of such assessments in a report for the clients. As such, technical knowledge is required, but fluent writing and organisation of information is absolutely key.

You will be travelling to sites UK-Wide to carry out the role. Alternatively you will be based in Birmingham.

What you'll need to succeed

Desirable:

  • Degree qualification in an Environmental or Engineering subject or similar.
  • System knowledge of CAD, GIS, Micro-drainage, ArcView/Info.
  • Based in central UK for travel purposes.
  • Charter-ship with CIWEM or similar.


Essential:

  • Flood risk assessment experience/knowledge.
  • Drainage strategy experience/knowledge.
  • 2x References.
  • Full UK Driving License.
  • Excellent written and spoken communication skills.
  • MS Office capability.
