Your new company
Due to growth this multi-disciplinary organisation are seeking an Associate Transport planner to head up their London based team, and be a part of a busy, dynamic team where working to tight deadlines and hitting them is the norm.
Your new role
Ideally you will have 10+ years experience within development planning work on planning applications for private sector clients. You will be well-versed in the UK planning system and be required to write transport assessments/statements, able to advise on issues such as access, scheme layouts, car parking provision etc. You will be hands on and review the work of more junior members of the team and provide them with guidance. You will be confident in dealing with clients, agreeing budgets, project management and invoicing.
What you'll need to succeed
You will have experience in the use of TRICS, TEMPRO, JUNCTIONS (ARCADY/PICADY) and LINSIG, also be familiar with DMRB, manual for streets and local authority highway design guides. Experience in preparing Environmental statements would also be beneficial.
