Parks Projects Officer/Manager
Your new company
This well renowned local council is based in West London; an area of constant change and redevelopment are looking to recruit a Parks Projects Officer. You will be responsible for managing a diverse portfolio of construction projects from the park's capital programme.
Your new role
As a Parks Projects officer you will be responsible for ensuring the projects are completed to the required standards, on budget and in time. Below are some of your responsibilities:
- Plan, manage, and monitor all aspects of the projects from initiation, scoping and specification, to tendering and delivery, through to defects and snagging resolution, final sign off and full project completion.
- Managing project timescales, quality control procedures and project risks and issues and to be responsible for devising and implementing contingency plans where necessary.
- Control and manage project budgets and to ensure regular monitoring and reporting on expenditure and commitments.
- Ensuring that satisfactory health and safety working practices are implemented and maintained by contractors and consultants and to ensure that all project works comply with CDM regulation requirements when applicable.
- Investigate and identify suitable funding streams (for example CIL and section 106 etc).

You will have extensive similar experience within Park Construction projects. You must be unequivocal in your commitment and drive for outstanding service delivery. What you'll get in return
