£43,434 to £50,296 per annum plus a generous benefits package including relocation assistance

UEA is a Campus-based University on the edge of a beautiful, historic city and the Estates and Facilities Division is proud to be able to make a beneficial contribution to the University’s vision by managing, developing and creating a Campus that makes a positive impact on the living and learning experience for students and staff. To prepare for the University’s growth in student numbers we are embarking upon an exciting period of new development and modernisation of the campus.

Reporting to the Head of Estates Strategy & Delivery the post holder will lead, develop and maintain a sustainable Engineering and Infrastructure plan to support the UEA’s built assets (buildings, plant & infrastructure) maximising a compliant, reliable, efficient function aligned to industry best practice and enacted in collaboration with the Maintenance, Projects and Sustainability, Utilities and Engineering delivery functions.

The successful candidate will possess a degree in a relevant engineering or facilities management related subject or relevant chartered professional membership; and have proven experience in leading and developing a sustainable Engineering and Infrastructure Plan across comparable technically complex estate portfolios.  Given the strong leadership requirements of the role it is expected that prospective candidates will have proven team leadership experience and excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
